| 1 | Overall, I like the premise and adventure feel of the game—there are fun things to discover, quests to follow, and items to cook and craft. However, I ran into several frustrating technical and design issues. The controller regularly stopped registering inputs on tutorial popups until I moved the mouse, which happened multiple times. Death sent me back far enough that redoing sections felt punishing, and some mechanics like mana, poison, and recipe numbers were unclear. I also noticed visual quirks like overlapping menus and jiggling rocks. |
| 2 | The directional rain audio sounded nice, but I quickly got confused and stuck in the cave. I accidentally threw my knife across an obstacle and couldn't pick it back up or climb out, leaving me completely unsure of what to do until I had to restart. |
| 3 | The sound quality is good and the visuals are interesting, but I had a lot of trouble with the controls. The game displayed keyboard prompts like Shift and Alt even though I was using a controller, leaving me guessing which buttons to press to dash. I also had trouble knowing what moss caps looked like, and when I tried to eat one from my inventory, I accidentally threw it away instead. |
| 4 | Exploration was neat and the voice acting was good, but combat felt spammy and unforgiving without a lock-on feature or clear dodging. Having to manually open the menu to save constantly broke my flow, and repeatedly dying and losing progress made the experience tedious. |
